The College of Medicine and Healing Arts (CoMHA) is based in Leicester, UK and runs in-person trainings and courses in UK and internationally.

We are a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to train and develop individuals to the highest level of skill and professionalism in Tibb and Complimentary & Alternative Medicine (CAM). Our underlying philosophy at CoMHA is one of inclusiveness, seeing unity in diversity.

Tibb is a living tradition of health and well-being that also incorporates positive aspects of Complimentary & Alternative Medicine (CAM).

The training and education provided by College of Medicine and Healing Arts is the most authentic training of Tibb, provided in traditional practices incorporating appropriate modern (complimentary and alternative) knowledge and skills. 

Dedication, Inspiration and Service 

Our Principal M Salim Khan M.D. (M.A.) M.H. D.O. M.I.R.C.H. F.G.N.I. is an international authority on Tibb: Whole-Person Healthcare & Medicine.  He has dedicated 40 years working with 1000s of patients and 100s of students all over the world, helping them improve their health and overcome disease. 

'Hakim' (the title given to a senior Tibb physician) Salim continues his practice as a natural therapist, publishes articles and books, and delivers talks, seminars, workshops and professional trainings around the globe. His unique work in Complimentary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) as well as in Tibb: Whole-Person Healthcare & Medicine has been widely acknowledged in the UK and internationally. 

His teachers and inspirations in Tibb include Shabeer Hussain Sahib (ra), Moulana Nisaar Ahmed (ra) and Hakim Nabi Khan Sahib (ra). He trained in herbal medicine and osteopathy with the General Council and Register of Consultant Medical Herbalists (now IRCH). He also studied iridology and nutrition with Dr. B.C. Jensen and Farida Sharan. 

Hakim Salim is currently president of the following professional bodies: International Register for Consultant Medical Herbalists (IRCH), Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International (GNI) and The Guild of Unani Tibb (TGU).
